Animal physiotherapy is used to rehabilitate and maintain health, mobility, function and performance in all animals whether they are your top competitor or your best friend. Animal physiotherapists are trained in both manual techniques, such as acupressure, myofascial release, trigger point release, massage, soft tissue work and joint mobilisation, as well as electrotherapies such as laser, ultrasound, electro stimulation and pulsed electromagnetic therapy. Post-treatment and when appropriate, a full exercise rehabilitation programme can be written specifically for your animals condition to ensure the body can repair correctly and reduce the incidence of re-injury.
